Uptown Circleville adds additional planters

With the help of local businesses, Uptown Circleville has added additional decorative containers to the City’s center.  The three new containers were sponsored by Perfection One Collision, Health Care Logistics and Kingston National Bank. Each of the eight large containers is filled three times per year to correspond with the pertinent season.

By adding the efflorescent containers, Uptown Circleville is hoping to improve uptown’s image and promote the area’s businesses.  Brenna Gibson, who leads the project said, “We hope that the people of Circleville and surrounding communities are able to come uptown this summer and enjoy the City in a way they haven’t been able to in decades. With unique businesses and restaurants, the new park, and the beautification efforts of Uptown, this area has a lot to experience.”

Uptown Circleville is in the process of expanding its Planter Program by seeking additional partnerships from businesses and individuals alike. Partners can donate funds for large or small planters that will forever be featured in Uptown or can donate to provide the seasonal foliage. All partners will be featured on a plaque attached to the planter and recognition for their support of Uptown’s beautification. Additional information about the program can be received by contacting Brenna Gibson at 740-207-3638 or by emailing info@uptowncircleville.com.

Uptown Circleville’s current planters can be found at the following corners:

  • Four at Court and Main Streets – Sponsored by The Savings Bank
  • Two at West Main and Scioto Streets – Sponsored by DeLong Insurance Agency and Perfection One Collision
  • Two at East Main and Pickaway Streets – Sponsored by Kingston National Bank and Health Care Logistics
